At maths time our focus remains on basic facts.
On Tuesday 13th
of December the Kowhai teachers have planned a fabulous action packed ‘Big Day Out’
at Founders Park to celebrate the end of another successful year. The children and teachers will
leave school on buses to Founders Park at 9.45am and will return at 1.30pm
approximately. Parents, pre-schoolers and caregivers are to meet us at the
front entrance or the field behind the café for 10am. We have
arranged a train ride and a range of rotational activities for the day. The
cost of the day will be $6 per child. However if you have pre-schoolers
attending there will be a small charge of $2.50 for the train ride. We would
very much appreciate some parent helpers to assist at the various activities
while at the park. When we arrive back at
school we have booked out the school swimming pool for the afternoon to cool
down! School will finish at the normal time of 3pm.
