We have had a fabulous week getting back into the swing of things. We were lucky enough to have had a new friend join our class. Maisey has came to us from Australia.
Also on Friday we have had children visiting for the new New Entrant class. Tory's class in Renwick 1 will be full in 4 weeks time so we are opening a 6th class in week 5. Our fabulous new teacher is called Sophie and we think she is awesome! Sophie will be teaching in Renwick 2. The children that were in Renwick 2 are on a new adventure. Some will be joining Pohutukawa syndicate and some will have a new teaching space upstairs in Renwick House.
As always the highlight for us this week was Discovery Time...
On Friday afternoon we got together with our buddies for a game of 'Golden Child'. This game is an all time favourite. We have two taggers chasing children. If you get tagged you need to sit on the step. Amongst the children running there is a 'Golden Child' who has the job of releasing the tagged children. It is the taggers job to work out who the 'Golden Child' is and tag them. This results in the end of the game and we start all over.

On Tuesday we will be tree planting within the school.
Sadly this term we will not be having Haley back to teach us Mandarin as she has other commitments.
