Week 1 Term 4

Welcome back to Term 4!

We have an action packed nine and a half weeks to end the year.
As I reflect over the year I feel so immensely proud of the children for the challenges they have overcome, their learning and development and their forever sense of fun. It warms my heart to hear the best part of their day is being with their friends. Not to mention the strength and laughter they have given me which I am very appreciative of!

Here are a few snaps of our week...

A big thanks to A.J. who brought in their families latest additions!

Quality workers....

This week Xavier and Indie ran the Kowhai Assembly and did an absolutely fantastic job!

Super readers...

 Discovery fun times...

Päkéké Mai ö Matimati - action song

Next week...

At literacy time we will be concentrating on capital letters and full stops. Our sound will be the 'ea' digraph.
Our tricky words are please & read.
During maths we are skip counting in 5's and securing basic fact knowledge.
Please help your child to remember their sunhat as we have a Nelson Central rule 'No hat, no play'.
We are in the process of planning our Kowhai Big Day out at Founders Park for the end of the year. Please note Tuesday December the 13th in your diary as we would love for you to join us if possible.
Have a happy and safe week!
